Butterscotch Parfait -- This recipe needs your help!

There are MANY blanks to be filled in this one. Please comment with suggestions, links to similar recipes, or tales of your own attempts at duplicating this! It doesn't help that I've also never made a parfait and don't particularly like parfaits.

Butterscotch Parfait
½ cup sugar
½ cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons butter
½ cup cold water
(make a caramel?)
Something cook together until it forms a ball.
Something to the cold water
Beat 2 egg whites and mix syrup with the cold water?
Cool down
Then put in ½ cup cold water to harden
Beat 2 egg whites until foamy
Then mix the first ball into the egg and make it cold
Grind something?
Pint of whipped cream
1 tablespoon vanilla
1 ½ cup (?) gelatin mixed in a ¼ cup of cold water
melt the gelatin with hot water. Mix well. Let sit in fridge for 2 hours

1 cup of milk (which is crossed out, sort of)

Butterscotch Parfait

½ cup sugar
½ cup brown sugar
2 spoons butter
½ “bowl” cold water
Cook together until it forms a soft ball
Cool down by putting in cold water

Beat 2 egg whites
“And throw the syrup among”
Let cool

½ Pint of whipping cream
1 spoon vanilla

dip 1 ½ spoon of gelatin to a ¼ cup of cold water
Heat the water until the gelatin melts.
